The sweater I chose is knit with large needles and a bulky yarn. It is a drop-shoulder done in the round to the underarm.

Techniques covered are cast on, increase, decrease, three needle bind off, bind off, picking up stitches at the neck, and blocking.

This sweater moves along quickly and will give the new knitter all the skills needed to apply to more complicated projects.
