Creating a Legend

Once you have created your motif and saved it, you will probably want to create a legend.

The simplest way to create a legend is to use Windows Paint.

If you have used single stitch symbols or colors, enter 1 in the stitch input box on the new grid dialog. Enter the number of stitches you wish to describe for the numbers of rows. For this example, I am going to use 12.

Draw each of your stitches in each cell of the grid.
