Type 9 in the stitches box, and 13 in the rows box.

Repeat coloring with yellow until you have a square as pictured below.
We now have the first petal of a flower.
There is no need to draw each petal individually.
Selecting
The next step is to Select the petal on the screen.
Click the Select Button
The Select Button is now depressed.
Move your mouse to the top left corner of the flower petal (top corner of stitch 4, row 13).
Click the left mouse button and hold down. Drag the selection box down to the right corner of the petal (stitch 2, row 11).
Release the left mouse button.
A red box surrounds the petal.
If you did not get the whole petal the first time, click the select button again to deselect. Once the red outline has disappeared, click the select button and try again.
Copy
The next step is to copy the petal so that we can paste it to finish our flower.
The petal is selected.
Click the copy button.
The Copy Button is down and the selection has disappeared.
Paste
We need 3 more petals to complete our flower
Click the Paste Button.
The Paste Toolbox will appear. The toolbox will contain the petal image.
Move the mouse to the Paste Toolbox.
When the mouse is over the image, depress the left mouse button and hold it down.
Drag the image to the grid. When the petal is in place, release the left mouse button.
Continue pasting until you have all 4 petals.
To turn off the paste function, click the X on the Paste Tool Box or Click the Paste Button.

I don’t think this flower is going to win any design awards, but it does teach the basic techniques of drawing, selecting, and pasting.
