There are several ways to implement paste.
Click the Paste Button
Click Paste on the Edit Menu
Before you can paste, you must have copied an area of the grid to the Paste Toolbox. The Paste Tool Box will be visible during all pasting.
When you have finished pasting, click the X on the Paste Tool Box, or click the Paste Button.
Pasting Hint:
Move that Paste Tool Box near the area to which you are pasting. This cuts down the amount of drag movement.
The hand cursor appears in the top left stitch of the paste graphic. The paste graphic will snap to the stitch that appears under the hand.

Select an area of the grid
Click the Paste Button.
The Paste Toolbox will appear. The toolbox will contain the image selected, in the case of Getting Started it is a flower petal.
Move the mouse to the Paste Toolbox.
When the mouse is over the image, depress the left mouse button and hold it down.
Drag the image to the grid. When the image is place, release the left mouse button.
