There are several ways to select with Stitch & Motif Maker.
Select using the Select Tool.
Select an area of stitches using the input dialog box.
Select All, meaning the complete grid without the stitch and row numbers.
Select Tool
The select tool is represented by the Select Button
Click the Select Button
Move the mouse to the grid area. The cursor will change to a cross.
To select, depress the left mouse button (Mouse Down) in the corner where you wish to start. While keeping the left mouse button depressed, move the mouse to the bottom right hand corner of the last stitch you wish to select. Lift your finger from the mouse button. (Mouse Up).
You will see a red dotted rectangle (Selection Box) surrounding the stitches and rows that you have selected.
If you have not selected correctly, click the Select Button again. The selection box will disappear.
To reselect, click the Select Button again. Move to the grid and repeat mouse moves described above.
