Select Area is a new tool. It is most useful when working with a large scrolled region.
Note the stitches and rows you wish to select.
Click Select Area on the Edit Menu
The next screen is a dialog box to manually enter the start and end of your selection by stitch and row.
Use the drop down arrows and select Start Stitch and the End Stitch
Use the drop down arrows and select Start Row and the End Row
Please remember that the start stitch should always be a lower number than the end stitch. The same holds true for rows
Click OK
Once you choose a Start Sititch orStart Row, the End Stitch and End Row list of choices will change to the first stitch or row, respectively that can be chosen as an end stitch or row.
You now have an area selected. If your grid is full size, 80 x 90 stitches and you wish to import a picture this is the way in which to select the area for importing.
The Copy, Cut and Paste and Import functions are now all enabled.
