Below are basic definitions of the symbols used in Stitch & Motif Maker. If there is no label, then the symbol is a wildcard. Use it for anything that you wish.
I have not included the bottom row of shapes or all parts of the modular cable system. The shapes and unlabeled letters can be used for black and white representation of colors.
I have provided a sample stitch using the modular cable system. With the modular cable system, you are not limited in the number of stitches represented in your twists.
Slip 3 sts on cable needle and hold in front, k next 2 sts, slip the purl st back onto left needle and purl it, then k the remaining two sts on cable needle.
